Greetings and Best Regards to the Family of Mrs. Mary Jones during their time of bereavement.
I am especially glad that my 10 year-old grandson and I had a few special moments with Dt. Jones in Kansas City, Missouri when she insisted on pinning a beautiful red rose to his lapel, She encouraged and supported my grandson and others that participated in the Grand Temple Daughter of Elks Spelling Bee. Dt. Jones will forever be remembered.

Even though I grew up in Queens and attended Brooks United Methodist Church with my mother,I believe we visited this church also. I don't live in NY now but on my next visit to the city ,I am coming up there to worship . In POntiac ,MI I worship at the oldest church in MI,Newman AME on BAgley Blvd.They have a website also you may wish to visit.
I'm sure you're aware of your fellow man in the ministry ,DR.James David Manning,whose church is in Harlem. I know he is misguided in his espousing hateful retoric of President Obama and his derogatory remarks obout his(Obama's) mother. I have heard little in the way of outcry among our peoples(Afro -Inclined Americans). I realize you are new to the community but as we castigate other ethnicities when we learn of their disrespect toward us ,how is it that we don't hear the clergy speak out when it is one of your own?
Here in MI, the President of the NAACP in Pontiac , was subjected to racist hate writings on his sidewalk and waste material thrown into his yard and porch.This is the first time it has been done toward him but as MI has a history of violence toward minorities ,(KKK and other groups( from 40's) and the latest incident in DC, it would seem to me that the "hue and cry" would be on CNN,ABC,NBC,BBC,CBN.all networks.
Well ,since it isn't ,I along with others ,are amassing to try and develop a following to CALL DR. MANNING OUT! I'll believe he is a coward and would not seek an audience to say these things to the Presidents face. As a christian,I try and follow GODS teachings.I am not judging this man Matthew7:1-2, but I know there are false prophets that abound Matthew 7:15-16 to destroy the word and lead others astray. i suggest you consider this memo seroiusly,as you read the comments, listen and look to see if what you hear from this "minister" is true.If so, what would you ?
